TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing a course. By completing a booking form you confirm that you have fully understood these terms and conditions.

Once booking forms have been received it is then classed as a legal contract, the contract is between Hands on Bushcraft and the client(s).

THE AGREEMENT

Clients must comply with the terms and conditions of Hands on bushcraft, clients must fully complete the booking form and a have either paid in full (shorter courses) or paid a deposit payment of no more than 50% which has cleared before being accepted on a course. A minimum number of 4 is required for a course to go ahead.

THE PAYMENT

The deposit of the course value is required to secure a place on a course (if booking a course more than 6 weeks before the course date). The remaining balance will be required 6 weeks before the course date. The deposit is non-refundable. If payment is not received 6 weeks before the course date then Hands on Bushcraft will treat the non payment as a cancellation of the course, By paying you you fully accept the terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION BY CLIENT

If a client cancels a course more then 6 weeks before the course date then the deposit is forfeited, 6 weeks – 2 weeks before the course date 50% of the course value forfeited and less then 2 weeks before the course date, the full value of the course is forfeited.

CANCELLATION BY HANDS ON BUSHCRAFT

If Hands on Bushcraft cancels a course any money paid will be refunded in full.

VARIATION OF COURSE CONTENT

Hands on Bushcraft reserve the right to change the course content, should such a situation occur. Hands on Bushcraft courses take place in an outdoor environment and therefore is subject to circumstances beyond their control such as extreme weather condition.

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Hands on Bushcraft has £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance to cover its activities. It is recommend that clients take out there own insurance to cover the duration of the course and travelling to and from Hands on Bushcraft courses.

Hands on Bushcraft courses take place in an outdoor environment and client must acknowledge that these places are never completely hazard free. Hands on Bushcraft make every effort to minimize the risks and hazards. Hands on Bushcraft will not liable for any accidents, loss or damage to personnel property as a result of client negligence, as a result of not following instructions from instructors.

Hands on Bushcraft will not be liable for any accidents or mishaps occurring to third parties taught by attendees of any Hands on Bushcraft course

DESCRIPTION AND PRICE OF GOODS AND COURSES

All descriptions and prices for items are correct and applicable at the point of sale. The descriptions including photographs are designed to show a true representation of the goods or courses. Hands on Bushcraft retains the right to change descriptions and prices as required. Descriptions and photographs do not form part of the contract between Hands on Bushcraft and the client.

All goods and courses are sold subject to availability. Any goods and courses sold that are not available will entitle the client to a full refund within 14 working days if not sooner.

Hands on Bushcraft accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or injury resulting from the use of any good sold from this website. Knowledge of and adherence to local laws and or statutes is the responsibility of the client and them alone.

There is no contract between Hands on Bushcraft and the client until Hands on Bushcraft has received your order and you have received a confirmation email back to the address you provide.

Hands on Bushcraft reserves the right to refuse to accept orders without further explanation.

Hands on Bushcraft shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage including loss of profit or any other form of compensation.

Hands on Bushcraft reserves the right to change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales, all changes will be made available for clients and potential clients to see on this website under the terms and conditions section.

DELIVERY

Items are normally dispatched within 48 hours Monday to Friday by first class mail. All items ordered will be posted to the billing address at the time of order, and cannot be changed afterwards to a different address

RETURNS

If there is any problem with your goods that relate to a manufacturing fault Hands on Bushcraft will replace the damaged or defective items. If no replacements are available, Hands on Bushcraft will be pleased to offer a refund.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase Hands on Bushcraft will fully refund the purchase value (we cannot refund you for delivery charges) of any item within 7 days of receipt of the order, this excludes gift vouchers. Items must be returned unused, free from damage, and be contained within its original packaging. We would recommend taking insurance when returning goods as Hands on Bushcraft cannot be held responsible for goods damaged in transit.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA

Hands on Bushcraft will occasionally take photographs or videos for promotional materials. This promotional material will either be printed or put on the internet. The Photographs will only be taken by hands on Bushcraft instructors. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed please state this to the course instructor. If nothing is said it is deemed that you have given your consent.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Once a gift voucher has been purchased is it non-refundable.

Gift Vouchers purchased are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and are non transferable.

CLIENT BEHAVIOUR

Hands on Bushcraft expects clients to behave in a reasonable manner throughout the course, if a client is behaving in a unsafe manner or is being a abusive to any clients or instructor. Hands on Bushcraft reserves the right to remove such client(s) from the course without refund, and Hands on Bushcraft will not be liable for any losses.

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints should be directed to the course instructor during the course, this is so that any issues can be resolved at that time. Any further complaints arising after the course must be received within 7 days after the course date. The complaints must be in writing to Hands on Bushcraft. If any complaints are received after this 7 day period Hands on Bushcraft will not be liable.

VEHICLES

Vehicles bought to Hands on Bushcraft courses are parked in the parking areas used by Hands on Bushcraft at the owners own risk.

DAMAGES OR LOSS OF EQUIPMENT

Hands on Bushcraft reserves the right to charge for the cost of replacement or repair of items of equipment lost or damaged during a course.
